Dr. Frank Evans graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1982, and he has been practicing in the area for over 40 years. His primary goal as a dentist is to provide the highest possible quality of dentistry for your whole family in a relaxed setting.
Dr. Evans completed his undergraduate education at Creighton University School of Dentistry and the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds Bachelor of Arts and master’s degrees in biological science. He is dedicated to continuing his education, believing that it is an ongoing and never-ending requirement and that it is necessary to provide optimum patient care. He far exceeds the state requirements for continuing education. He is also a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), the Oklahoma Dental Association (ODA), and the Green Country Study Club (GCSC).
Dr. Evans has received many awards, including the Distinguished Service Award: D-Dent (charitable dental program for the disabled and elderly), Volunteer of the Year at Catholic Charities Dental Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Knight of the Year, Knights of Columbus, and Big Brother of the Year. He is a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a charter member of the Fort Gibson Chamber of Commerce, and has been the Chairman of the Fort Gibson Planning and Zoning Commission for more than 25 years.
In addition to volunteer work close to home, Dr. Evans has volunteered in more than 40 dental and medical missions to some of the poorest and most remote countries in the world. He has been blessed to serve the dental needs of the poor in Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, China, Uganda, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, and most of the Central American countries. These experiences are very humbling and remind him of how fortunate he is to be an American.
Dr. Evans has seven grown children and a growing number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoys just about any activity that takes place outdoors, particularly water sports, and is an avid scuba diver that holds the rank of Divemaster. He enjoys driving and restoring classic cars and has been known to play a hand or two of dime ante poker.
